As
a small-time author, my sense is that most anyone can write their
story, whether it be a church cookbook, flying experiences, bringing
up kids, personal travel or a favorite hobby.
The keys, in my mind, are to write about what you know and,
if non-fiction, include max photos to bring the tale to vivid
full-screen. Computers, scanning, digital photos and user-friendly
software make the “job” much easier.
Once done, and the masterpiece is on the coffee table, most
of us small-time guys and gals enjoy some modicum of satisfaction. |
I‘ve not sold any of my books for the past five years.
These are on me at my cost, not including five bucks to mail,
with but one suggestion: Please
make a donation to the National Naval Aviation Museum by going to:
navalaviationfoundation.org/donate ,
hit the donate button and the amount you want to donate. Suggestion: Humble
$20; True Faith $20; Sea Buoy
$25; Carrier Command $25.
For Carolyn: Please
call me. It’s easy, fast,
makes me feel good and goes to a wonderful cause.
All the best. Pete
